2) Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information we collect automatically, and (C) information we receive from others when applicable.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Customer support content: information you include when you contact us (for example, messages, attachments, and any details you choose to share).
  • User content: dessert photos, shop names, tasting notes, tags, and other journal content you create.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, and related diagnostic information.

2.3 Location information (only with your permission)

If you grant location permissions, we may collect precise or approximate location to help you tag or organize dessert shop entries and enhance your experience. You can control location access in your device settings and in-app prompts.

2.4 Cookies, similar technologies, and web beacons

If parts of the Service are provided via web views or companion web pages, we may use cookies and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, improve security, and measure performance and usage. 4) Photos, face data, and biometrics

4.1 No facial recognition or biometric identification

Flixcove does not perform facial recognition for identifying you or others, and we do not create or use biometric identifiers or biometric information for identification purposes.

4.2 Photo handling and storage

By default, your photos and tasting notes are stored on your device. If you choose to upload content (for example, to share content, back it up, or use certain optional features), we process that content according to this Privacy Policy.

4.3 One-time processing and deletion for optional smart/AI-assisted features (if available and if you opt in)

Some optional features may use automated processing (including AI-assisted functionality) to help you generate or enhance content (for example, drafting tasting notes or extracting details from a dessert photo). If you choose to use such features:

  • Your uploaded photos and/or text are processed on Flixcove-controlled servers.
  • We do not share your inputs with third-party AI model providers.
  • We do not use your content to train advertising models or for marketing profiling.
  • Unless you explicitly choose to save the generated output in your journal, the uploaded inputs are deleted promptly after processing is completed.
  • You control whether to upload content and whether to generate or save any results.
